Employment Standards Act Consultation
The PEI Government is inviting the public to provide feedback on the proposed replacement of the current Employment Standards Act.
The Comprehensive Review Panel completed extensive policy and consultation work over a two-year period, leading up to recommendations found in the final report.
Given the significant number of legislative changes recommended by the Comprehensive Review Panel, it was determined that a new Act should be drafted to replace the current Act. Anyone interested in providing feedback on the draft replacement of the Employment Standards Act can submit their comments by November 1, 2024.
